Every relationship has its ups and downs. No matter how much love there is, it’s natural to face moments of frustration, miscommunication, or emotional distance. Maybe you and your partner keep having the same arguments without resolution, or you struggle to express what you truly need from each other. Maybe something has shifted in the relationship, and you’re not sure how to find your way back.
Couples counselling is a space to slow down and really listen—to yourself, to your partner, and to the patterns that shape your relationship. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy, helping you understand not just how you communicate but also the deeper emotional needs driving your interactions. Often, conflicts aren’t just about the surface issue. They reflect old wounds, unspoken expectations, and ways of coping that might not be serving you anymore. Therapy gives you both the tools to navigate these moments with more clarity, honesty, and connection.
Sessions last 60 minutes, and the process looks different for every couple. Some come in for a few sessions to work through a specific challenge, while others engage in longer-term therapy to break recurring patterns and build a stronger foundation. However long we work together, my goal is to help you communicate more openly, understand each other more deeply, and create a relationship that feels fulfilling for both of you.
